The Brief
To design, supply, and install a bird netting system to roof and balcony areas of an occupied residential block, preventing nesting and bird-related issues while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
The Challenge
The works were carried out within a live residential environment, with occupants present throughout. This required careful coordination, controlled working practices, and a considerate approach to minimise disruption, noise, and visual impact.
Our Solution
We delivered a full design, supply, and installation package for roof and balcony bird netting systems, tailored to the building’s layout and access constraints. Rope access techniques enabled safe and efficient installation without intrusive access equipment, reducing disruption to residents and avoiding the need for extensive scaffolding.
The Result
The project was completed successfully despite the challenges of working within an occupied residential building. The bird control measures were installed to a high standard, providing an effective long-term solution, with the client satisfied with the outcome.
Client Feedback
